Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS or RSD)

Complex regional pain syndrome or CRPS is chronic pain that typically affects an arm or a leg. CRPS can develop after an injury, surgery, a stroke or a heart attack. Often, the pain is out of proportion compared to the severity of the initial injury that caused it.

CRPS, which used to be called reflex sympathetic dystrophy or RSD, treatment is most effective when started early at our CRPS treatment center. Early CRPS or RSD treatment makes possible, improvement and even remission. Symptoms of CRPS include:
